Is cursive writing style a writing style? Is it still relevant or beneficial for today’s world?

When you have an idea that you want to expand on into a longer form of writing, there are a multitude options one can choose from to use. Most laptops come with a WordPad or a notepad app that serves as a document creator, but from my experience, they aren't as strong as two well-known word documents. The two most known and commonly used from my peers and I are Microsoft Word and Google Docs.
